I am an undergraduate in Chemical Engineering of Forest Products at Nanjing Forestry University (GPA 3.6, ranked 1st in class and 2nd in major). My current training connects organic chemistry fundamentals with engineering-oriented problem solving: understanding reaction mechanisms, then learning how those mechanisms relate to real materials, processes, and data.
Mathematical modeling has been my main training ground outside coursework. Through CUMCM (Jiangsu Provincial First Prize) and consecutive MCM/ICM Honorable Mentions in 2025 and 2026, I practiced breaking down ambiguous problems, choosing defensible assumptions, analyzing data, and communicating results in a structured paper.
More recently, I have been exploring how AI-assisted workflows can support chemistry learning and research preparation. I am working through Clayden and March while building practical habits in Python, literature management, and structured notes. My long-term direction is to grow toward computational chemistry and AI-assisted organic synthesis on top of a solid chemistry foundation.
